I help writers develop
stronger manuscripts
– and stronger writing careers

About Me

And that's a journey no writer should have to navigate alone.

As a represented novelist, I know what it's like to wrestle with a difficult draft, second-guess every decision, and wonder whether a manuscript is ready for the next stage. I know how vulnerable it can feel to share your work with someone else. That's why I believe editorial feedback should do more than identify problems – it should provide clarity, confidence, and a way forward.

Whether I'm reviewing a first chapter, providing developmental feedback, or working with an author over several months through Literary Consultancy, my goal is always the same: to help writers create the strongest version of their story while continuing to grow in confidence and craft.

Because great books don't appear fully formed. They develop through collaboration, revision, and a willingness to keep learning.

But the experience that shapes my work most is being a writer myself.

Stories have shaped my life for as long as I can remember.

They led me to study Creative Writing, first at the University of Southampton and later at Bath Spa University, where I had the privilege of learning from acclaimed novelists including Tessa Hadley, Nathan Filer, and Samantha Harvey. Since then, I've continued to develop my craft under the mentorship of Francisco Vilhena, Editor at Bloomsbury.

That love of storytelling ultimately grew into a career spent helping writers bring their own stories to life.

Today, I divide my time between working as a literary consultant and editor, supporting authors through ScarlettInk, and helping shape products and resources used by millions of writers worldwide as Brand Manager at ProWritingAid.

Over the years, I've worked with bestselling authors, debut novelists, self-published writers, and publishing professionals. I've helped authors secure literary representation, sign publishing deals, and connect their books with readers around the world. I also provide freelance editorial support to publishers including Troubador Publishing and Joffe Books.
